Up until this point, little was to be known about Skeleton Crew but now an amazing detail was revealed to the public: The Daniels are responsible for directing one episode. Recently, The Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) were awarded the Oscar for Best Director, alongside Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay awards. Their movie Everything, Everywhere, All at Once won 7 statuettes in total during the 95 edition of the Oscars.

However, before the movie received all these awards, the directing duo was approached to work on a different project:  Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The upcoming Disney+ series, produced by Jon Favreau, features a group of kids trying to return home after being lost in the galaxy. Alongside this group of kids is some sort of “group mother character” portrayed by Jude Law.

With a precise release date yet to be announced, Skeleton Crew is still a mystery for the fans waiting patiently for the next adventure.
