The Panels And Schedule For ‘Star Wars’ Celebration London Have Been Announced

One of the most important moments of the year is upon us once again! Star Wars Celebration will kick off with an impressive slate of interviews, announcements, and reveals for upcoming Star Wars projects. It’s every fan’s dream for a weekend full of Star Wars content. The event is going to take place in London from Friday, April 7th to Monday, April 10th. The full panel schedule has just been released, further hyping the excitement for the weekend.

Friday, April 7

Star Wars Celebration kicks off with Lucasfilm’s Studio Showcase, which will feature Star Wars projects, including those coming down that have not been shown to the public yet. London Calling: Designing Star Wars Productions in the UK is next, featuring projects filmed in the United Kingdom like the sequel trilogy, Rogue One, and Solo. To close out the day, The Making of Andor Season One will be a conversation between Director Tony Gilroy and Diego Luna, who plays beloved spy and rebellion hero Cassian Andor.

Saturday, April 8

Fans will likely get a glimpse of the upcoming series during the Ahsoka panel, which promises special guests who will join Jon Favreau and David Filoni. Bringing Worlds to Life: The Concept Artists of ILM follows, giving fans behind-the-scenes look at Industrial Light & Magic’s work. Star Wars: The High Republic will give more detail about Phase III.

Saturday is also a day to celebrate anniversaries. Ming-Na Wen will host 40 Years of Return of the Jedi. Later in the day, join Dave Filoni, Dee Bradley Baker, Ashley Eckstein, Matt Lanter, and James Arnold Taylor in Clone Wars - 15 Year Anniversary Panel

There will be a screening of the first two episodes of the new kid-friendly animated series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures. Collectors unite and check out Hasbro Star Wars & Indiana Jones Panel

Sunday, April 9

Sunday is another full day as well. Villains of the Sequel Trilogy, Behind the Magic: The Visual Effects of Andor, and Hyperspace Stories: Dark Horse Comics Returns kick off the afternoon. Andor has gotten some attention this past year and definitely deserves the spotlight.

A Look Back at Obi-Wan Kenobi will play into the nostalgia as fans see Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen together again along with the rest of the cast as they talk about their experience.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 will take center stage next with host Amy Ratcliffe leading the discussion with producers on the different styles in the upcoming season. Of course, fans can’t miss the Closing Ceremony, which will announce the location of the next Star Wars Celebration in 2025.
