The official trailer for Marvel Animation’s X-Men ‘97 has finally been released! The series serves as a continuation of the 1992 show X-Men: The Animated Series. Set several years after the original series, this show follows the X-Men as they try to regroup and persevere. The trailer opens with a clip from the past, showing the death scene of Charles Xavier before switching to the show’s present day. The iconic theme song of the original series is present in the background, serving as a subtle reminder that the two shows are connected. Drama closes out the trailer with Magneto presenting the Professor’s final will and staking a claim on everything he built. From exciting displays of power to tiny, interesting details, it fails to disappoint; check out the trailer below!

X-Men ‘97 will hit Disney+ on March 20, 2024. There will be ten episodes in total; according to IMDb, they will be released every week, putting the final episode to a mid/end of May release. This won’t be the only season for the series, either! A second season has already been confirmed to be in development. In the meantime, X-Men: The Animated Series can be streamed in its entirety on Disney+.
