'Warhammer Skulls' Hits 10 Year Milestone

For ten years, Warhammer Skulls has presented Warhammer gaming projects to the public, and after a good year in 2025 with some discontent over fairly aggressive merchandise advertisements, 2026’s presentation has been received seemingly much more positively by the community.
One of the reasons for this was the release of several games, game updates, and demos for upcoming titles, allowing fans immediate access to their favorite franchise. Most notable of all of these was probably the release of Mechanicus II, dropping the same day as the digital presentation. A narrative trailer played during the presentation itself, highlighting the Adeptus Mechanicus and Necron campaigns in this sequel to the well-enjoyed strategy game, but also expanding more on the presence of the Leagues of Votann in the narrative after they were previously teased in a story trailer almost a year ago. Alongside this large push came another update for Space Marine 2, while a demo for Warhammer Survivors also became available.
Several announcements also took place for games previously known about but also revealed new titles. The release date of the upcoming Dawn of War IV was shown as September 17 alongside a roadmap of further content additions, with the caveat that these plans may change in the future. A new strategy game entitled Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch was also revealed and will serve as a sequel to an existing title, with the focus now landing on the titular Deathwatch, focused on killing major alien threats in the Warhammer 40K galaxy.
These represent only some of the many announcements, so we urge readers to check the full video reveal for all of the fun gameplay, cinematics, and more on display. Hopefully, 2027’s presentation is just as, if not more successful.
