Without any fanfare, notice, or apparent reasoning, Disney has de-listed 14 classic Disney licensed video games from Steam, two of which were also previously available on the retro PC game site Galaxy of Games (GOG). The disappearance of these games was first noticed by an X.com user named Wario64 and also user HappyCatEW on Steamgifts. The games, primarily those released during the “boom” of Disney licensed video games throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, that have been de-listed include the following:

  • Afterlife

  • Armed and Dangerous

  • Disney's Chicken Little: Ace in Action

  • Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell's Adventure

  • Disney's Hercules Action Game

  • Disney Planes

  • Disney The Princess and the Frog

  • Disney Winnie the Pooh

  • Disney•Pixar Cars: Radiator Springs Adventures

  • Disney•Pixar Finding Nemo

  • Disney•Pixar Toy Story Mania!

  • Lucidity

  • Phineas and Ferb: New Inventions

  • Stunt Island

Afterlife and Stunt Island were previously also available on Galaxy of Games, another popular retro PC game distribution site. Disney has been reached out to by multiple outlets for comment on the disappearance of these games; however, Disney has not responded as of yet. leaving many fans confused about their sudden disappearance. While the disappearance of these games from platforms such as Steam and Galaxy of Games means that they can no longer be purchased/downloaded through online distribution sites, the games are still playable for people who own or purchase the physical media.
