A first look at Spider-Noir has arrived! A teaser image, which was officially released by MGM, shows the black-and-white web slinger in action, with a rather lovely hat. Unofficially, a teaser trailer for the Amazon Prime series found its way online, showing a bit of Spider-Man Noir in action across this 1930s New York. Arriving in 2026, Nicolas Cage is reprising his role as Spider-Man Noir from the animated Spider-Verse film, Into the Spider-Verse.

From the official press release, it is known that Spider-Noir will be available in colour, or in black and white for that true noir feel. Domestically releasing on MGM+, it will appear a day later on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories. Joining Cage in this 1930s tale are Brendan Gleeson, Li Jun Li, Jack Huston, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, and Lamorne Morris.

Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal, producers of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, helped develop the series alongside Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot, the showrunners and executive producers of the series. A series that “tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.” Spider-Noir will be the only spin-off of the Spider-Verse films after last year’s cancellation of Silk: Spider Society.
