A Full Reveal Trailer For 'Star Wars: Beyond Victory' Has Been Released

Star Wars fans will be able to revisit the galaxy this fall with the release of Star Wars: Beyond Victory. Beyond Victory is a new virtual reality game for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S. A new trailer revealed three separate sections of play. The first section, Adventure Mode, follows the story of a rising podracer under the tutelage of Sebulba. The gameplay is a blend of full VR and mixed reality pod races. The trailer shows that the player character will get swept in with a Hutt criminal ring in some way. Outside of Adventure Mode, players will be able to access Arcade Mode, a mixed reality podracing game, and Playset Mode, where they can display various collectibles like figurines of C-3PO and R2-D2.

Game director Jose Perez III said of the game, “This experience is designed to celebrate storytelling, action, imagination, and everything we love about Star Wars. We wanted to give players a new way to step inside the galaxy and make it their own. Beyond Victory is set during the Empire’s Reign, and as such, may offer insights to some fan-favorite characters. The game includes the voice talents of Fin Argus, Greg Proops, Lilimar Hernandez, Lewis McLeod, and Bobby Moynihan and will be released on October 7.
