Just when you thought tomorrow was going to be uneventful, Sony has announced a last-minute Showcase for the PlayStation. With the launch of the Switch 2 on Thursday, the Summer Game Fest Live on Friday, and the Xbox summer showcase on Sunday, this will ensure that this week is busy. The PS Blog said of the Showcase, “Watch live for news and updates on must-play games coming to PS5. The show highlights a selection of great games from creators across the globe.” Any further details are unknown at the moment, though we certainly won’t be in the dark for long.

We can only imagine what will be shown off at the PlayStation Showcase. We can certainly expect first-party titles like Ghost of Yotei and Marathon, alongside this party blockbusters like Borderlands 4, Mafia: The Old Country, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. However, anything after that is pure speculation on our parts.
