Amazon And Sony Release First Trailer For 'Masters Of The Universe'

After a teaser for its release, the first trailer for the live-action Masters of the Universe film has dropped. Filled with familiar sights for fans of the franchise, the trailer takes a turn when it's revealed that Prince Adam (the humble royal who transforms into He-Man) was sent to Earth as a child by his mother in order to protect him from a threat against Castle Grayskull, which appears to be some kind of an invasion. Stuck on Earth, but aware of his past (no memory loss here! probably), Adam is seeking the Power Sword likely with hopes of returning home.
Instead of a more mystical method of transport, however, it appears the foes of Castle Grayskull catch up with Adam on Earth and he is seemingly rescued by a motley crew aboard a starship featuring faces familiar to the old TV show and the more recent reboots. Returning to Eternia, Adam must now acquire the Power Sword, and lead his people in the fight against the villainous Skeletor, who looks quite accurate to his animated appearances.
