The Doctor has found a home for U.S. fans to view! AMC has acquired the exclusive streaming rights to Doctor Who (2005-2022); the Disney-produced seasons are excluded from this agreement. The show will be available on the platform starting June 11, 2026.
Outside of renting the series, purchasing DVDs, and accessing the BBC, American fans have had some minor difficulties watching the show. It was added to HBO Max in 2019, but was later removed in 2025 with no immediate news on where else to find it. When Disney ended its partnership with the BBC to produce more Doctor Who, fans were further disheartened. With the AMC partnership, the beloved first 13 seasons of modern Doctor Who are once again more accessible to the everyday fan.
