Crunchyroll Announces "Crunchyroll Anime Nights" Monthly Theatrical Program

As announced at San Diego Comic Con, starting in October, anime streaming company, Crunchyroll, will be starting a new monthly theatrical anime program, entitled Crunchyroll Anime Nights, in the US. The program, which will be featured in select movie theater chains across the country, will feature a selected anime movie screening night every third Monday of every month. Participating theater chains currently include Alamo Drafthouse, AMC Theaters, Regal, Cinemark Theaters, Harkins Theaters, and Larmark Theaters.
The October-December slate of films was announced along with the program announcement. The slate currently includes Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A lonely dragon wants to be loved, based on the anime series, on October 20, and OVERLORD - A Celebration of the Anime’s 10th Anniversary on November 17. Crunchyroll Anime Nights: Secret Sneak Peek! will be shown on December 15 and will preview some of the hottest anime that will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
