The much-awaited soundtrack album for The Mandalorian and Grogu will be released digitally by Walt Disney Records tomorrow, and details about the tracks have been revealed. The album features music composed by Ludwig Göransson, the talented composer behind music for The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Göransson is a 3-time Academy Award winner for Black Panther, Oppenheimer, and Sinners. The soundtrack will be available on streaming platforms tomorrow, and a standard 12-inch vinyl will be released on June 5, featuring 13 tracks from the score. A CD version of the score is also reportedly in the works.

The list of 21 tracks available digitally includes titles and track lengths. The tracks reveal a bit about the structure of the movie, but given that Lucasfilm spoiled Qui-Gon’s death in Episode I- The Phantom Menace due to the title of a track, the titles for The Mandalorian and Grogu are likely to have been carefully selected. Some of the titles include “This Is The Way”, “The Twins”, “Hugo Durant’s Snack Shack”, “Tracking Lord Janu”, “Grogu’s World”, and “Red Jammer.” The Mandalorian and Grogu will be released in theaters next Friday, May 22, for the Memorial Day weekend. The film stars Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White, and Martin Scorsese.
