The Mandalorian and Grogu will release next week, but Sigourney Weaver is already hoping to come back for more. The veteran actress is a legend in Hollywood, having achieved every actor’s dream in her long career. Weaver loves being Colonel Ward so much that she wants to be part of any possible sequel. She confessed, "Well, in an ideal world, I'd love to make another Mandalorian and Grogu, because it was so much fun to work with Jon Favreau.” As of now, there’s no confirmation of a sequel for The Mandalorian and Grogu, but if Weaver wants one, it indicates that the possibility has been discussed. Maybe she isn’t the only one who wants a sequel; perhaps Jon Favreau, Pedro Pascal, and Lucasfilm are also keeping their fingers crossed that the movie is a big enough success to warrant a sequel. Perhaps this also means the plan is to continue Din Djarin and Grogu’s story on the big screen instead of returning to Disney+ for The Mandalorian Season 4. Fans will surely have mixed feelings regarding this.

Weaver complimented Favreau and said, “I'm a huge admirer, and just to be in this world, for me, it was cool. And I really like my character, and I'd love to do more work with Pedro and his sidekick.” Maybe this is also a sign that Din Djarin fans can breathe a sigh of relief about the character’s fate in the movie. As much as the promos have teased it, the likelihood of his death is extremely low. Weaver adds, "So, I think that, secretly, we're all hoping maybe this could produce another one that would take us further into the Outer Rim and more adventures," she adds. The Mandalorian and Grogu arrives in theaters next week.
