The Eerie Elementary series are children’s books that follow Sam Graves, a third-grade boy who faces the dangers of a school that is alive. Authored by Max Brallier under the pen name Jack Chabert, a pilot series based on those books has been greenlit by Disney Branded Television.

This adaptation will change things up a bit, with Sam Graves now being an older girl who attends a prep school. As such, the series will be named Eerie Prep. Madalen Mills, star of Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, will portray the lead role of Graves. Alongside Mills will be Alex Bar, Niko Ceci, Charlie Ellis, Madison Rojas, and Michaela Russell. Guest starring will be Hanna Huffman and Felicia Day.

Written by David H. Steinberg and Keeti Kogan, Eerie Prep tells the story of Sam Graves, uncovering the truth behind supernatural occurrences at the titular school, accompanied by a team of uniquely skilled students, as she investigates the disappearance of her sister. Directed by Eric Dean Seaton with M. Raven Metzner on showrunning duties, Eerie Prep will be executive produced by Brallier, Steinberg, Kogan, Metzner, and Seaton alongside Hillary Turner and Lindsay MacAdam. Thunderbird Entertainment will produce Eerie Prep for release on Disney Channel and Disney+.
