This is not an exaggeration; the superhero workplace comedy adventure game Dispatch has just topped two million players.
This game, which was developed by AdHoc Studio (comprising former developers from the original Telltale Games) has been releasing two episodes weekly from October 22 to November 12.

The X page has confirmed, “We're also sad there are no new episodes this week, but thank you to the 2 million players that have joined us so far. Wouldn't be here without you.” This show of support from players has been a huge boon for AdHoc, as Dispatch is their first published game.
Dispatch follows the career of Robert Robertson III, formerly the superhero Mecha Man, who is forced to work as a dispatcher after his mech suit is totaled. There, you manage a team of mismatched heroes, including reformed supervillains, and try to balance emergencies, interpersonal drama, and Robertson’s own goals. IGN gave it 9/10, stating: “Dispatch is a sharp-witted workplace comedy that charms with its smart dialogue choices, great writing, and lovably aggravating cast.” We will be watching AdHoc’s career with great interest, as we wait for their next project. Until then, look to the skies, and watch out for dialogue trees and easter eggs.
