It appears that the new live-action Masters of the Universe film is also set to feature some characters originally featured in the spin-off series made for girls, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
According to the above X.com posts, the characters from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power who are slated to appear include Bow and Netossa. Bow is a skilled archer and is one of the original Rebels assisting She-Ra and her allies in fighting the evil Horde. Netossa is an ally of the Rebellion and is skillful at throwing nets. She is unique in that, at least in the original animated She-Ra series continuity, her character’s skill has no magical and/or mystical source. Her counterpart’s powers in the 2018 Netflix reboot are magical in origin.
The upcoming Masters of the Universe film is expected to premiere on Prime Video next year, boasts several big-name actors. Some of those actors include Nicholas Galitzine (He-Man/Prince Adam), Jared Leto (Skeletor), Alison Brie (Evil-Lyn), Morena Baccarin (Sorceress of Greyskull), Idris Elba (Man-At-Arms), Camila Mendes (Teela), James Purefoy (King Randor), Charlotte Riley (Queen Marlena), Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson (Malcolm/Fisto), Sam C. Wilson (Trap Jaw), Hafthor Bjornsson (Goat Man), and Kojo Attah (Tri-Klops). Other cast members for the film include recently announced Jon Xue Zhang (Ram-Man), Sasheer Zamata (Suzie), and Christian Vunipola (Hussein).

Masters of the Universe (2026) will be a second live-action adaptation of the popular 1980s toyline and animated series, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983-1985) and spin-off series geared towards girls, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (1985-1987). The Masters of the Universe franchise has remained quite popular over the years, spawning several animated reboots, as well as comic books, video games, and other media. A poorly received live-action film of the same name, Masters of the Universe (1987), was previously released in the late 1980s, starring Dolph Lundgren (He-Man), Frank Langella (Skeletor), and Meg Foster (Evil-Lyn). That film also featured original supporting characters played by Courteney Cox (Friends, Scream), James Tolkan (Back to the Future), and Robert Duncan McNeill (Star Trek: Voyager).
