The newest Fantastic Four film has been making waves the closer its release date reaches. As the film’s cast and crew complete their rounds in promoting the film, the cast will be completing their “greatest challenge yet” on film screens—both standard and now on IMAX. According to comicbookmovie.com, the “vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world” of Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to “finally” do Marvel’s First Family right. However, Vanessa Kirby, the latest Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, recounted how the new Fantastic Four film “could never compare” to the nostalgia of the previous films before, but how those films and actors who are part of them have “so much to love” given how they are connected to one another".

The backdrop of this new 1960s-inspired world on IMAX creates the perfect setting for the Fantastic Four to handle their “most daunting challenge yet”. The heroes are put into the position to not only handle their adversary as the Fantastic Four, but to confront their human nature as well. The Four are “forced to balance their roles” as heroes and a family to defend the Earth from a “ravenous space god” named Galactus (portrayed by Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (played by Julia Garner).

Not only do the new Fantastic Four cast members share the IMAX screen with their villains, but moviegoers will see more talented actors such as Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. Their exact roles have yet to be revealed. Additionally, Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom is rumored to appear, given his appearance in Avengers: Doomsday. The day fans will see these actors on IMAX screens will be set for July 25, 2025.
