An interesting update regarding the filming of an upcoming Avengers film has been released. A filming location was further confirmed: Marvel has paid an unspecified multi-million-dollar figure to film in Windsor Great Park, a Royal park on the border of Surrey and Berkshire, England. This is reportedly for the filming of Avengers: Doomsday (2026). Money from this deal will aid in the upkeep of the overall park as a historical and conservation site. Specific scenes and the characters being filmed at this location have not been named.
News site The Irish Sun released a comment about the move from an unnamed source, “Several million pounds is chicken feed to Marvel when their movies make billions.” The statement continued, “But the money will go to the upkeep of Windsor Great Park so the King of course has a keen interest. Some of the profits of Crown Estates make their way to the Royal Family so it’s a win-win for everyone. The Royal Family may even be persuaded to pop by and have a look at Thor in action.”
