New Details On 'Star Wars: Visions' Season 3 And 'The Ninth Jedi' Spin-Off

Star Wars: Visions was a surprise success for Lucasfilm and Disney when Volume 1 was released in 2021. During Star Wars Celebration Japan day three, fans got more information about Volume 3 and a new spin-off. The Visions panel kicked off with the announcement that Volume 3 will premiere on October 29 on Disney+. Following the format of the previous two volumes, all episodes will be released on premiere day. It was then announced that we will also be getting a limited spin-off series, Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi, which will premiere in 2026.
The new volume will feature three follow-ups to stories from season one: The Duel by Kamikaze Douga, The Village Bride by Kinema Citrus Co., and The Ninth Jedi by Production I.G. The Ninth Jedi sequel episode is in addition to the limited series. All nine episode titles were released during the panel: The Duel: Payback by Kamikaze Douga, The Lost Ones and Yuko’s Treasure by Kinema Citrus Co., The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope by Production I.G, The Smuggler by Trigger, The Bounty Hunters by WIT Studio, The Song of Four Wings by Project Studio Q, The Bird of Paradise by Polygon Pictures, and Black by davidproduction. Attendees got to see clips and images from each episode.
