Plenty of merchandise, for all different kinds of fans and from different fandoms, fills the hallways of San Diego Comic-Con this year. Some also take the chance to announce new or upcoming merchandise, and retailer Heroes & Villains is no different.
A well-known purveyor of fashion inspired or influenced by various franchises with a focus on quality, this year they put the focus on Star Wars with two clothing lines full of diverse items centered on two military organizations in the Star Wars universe, one from the Rebellion and the other, the Empire.
First, there is the fashion inspired by the Pathfinders, a special ops group perhaps best known for their mission to the Forest Moon of Endor in Return of the Jedi. They were also explored more in Charles Soule’s 2020 main Star Wars comic run, showing us more information about Kes Dameron, Poe Dameron’s father, and a leading figure among the group. Their line of apparel focuses on earth tones and seeks to channel the survivalist spirit of the Pathfinders.

In opposition to them is the line of clothing inspired by Inferno Squad, an anti-Rebel task force formed in the wake of the first Death Star’s destruction, which eventually broke apart in the wake of the Battle of Endor. Focusing on black and red coloration for their clothing, the line looks to evoke “a sleek, tactical, and stealth-forward design” alongside Imperial imagery.
The clothing items are available to buy now, both online and at the Heroes and Villains booth on the show floor of SDCC.
