Next 'V/H/S' Installment Story Line Released

A few days ago, I was talking with my wife about the latest Hollywood trend of going to the suddenly highly profitable well that is the internet for new story ideas, especially in horror. I brought up the SCP Foundation, and she said that she could foresee it getting a TV series of some kind. Cut to later that day and I read the news about the next installment of the V/H/S series: V/H/S: SCP.
The newer iteration of the V/H/S series is perfect for the kind of secretive government entity series that makes up the SCP Foundation. Seeing a handful of horror directors take on stories about individual anomalies, characters, and even containment breaches will be awesome. Unlike the last several films in the series which were released on the horror streaming service Shudder, this next installment is set for a 2027 theatrical release. It will be interesting to see which of the famous SCP anomalies make it onto the big screen. 173, 049 and 682 are pretty safe bets, though.
If they do this right, it’ll be a smash hit, and probably open up the SCP Foundation to more screen media in the future.
