Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio that has experienced a significant surge in popularity following the debut of shows like The Amazing Digital Circus and Knights of Guinevere. Over the last couple of years, showrunners like Dana Terrace, creator of The Owl House, have joined the studio to work on new projects. However, one creative within the studio is stepping into a larger role.

In a video published to all of his social media platforms, Olan Rogers announced that he will now serve as Head of Development at Glitch Productions. Rogers had been working in the studio since 2024, overseeing production on Lackadaisy, which was also recently greenlit for a full series.

Olan Rogers first got his start making skits on YouTube, but is best known for creating the TBS/Adult Swim animated series Final Space, which ran from 2018 until 2021 before being abruptly canceled by Warner Bros. Rogers also voiced the show’s main protagonists, Gary Goodspeed and Mooncake. Following the cancellation of his series, Rogers would write, produce and star in the short film Godspeed, and has continued working on a Final Space graphic novel, which will tie up the loose ends left behind by the show’s cancellation.

“I wanna see other indie animation studios get bigger, and I think Glitch just has that blueprint, they are just killing it right now, and it's exciting to be a part of it,” Rogers said within his video, highlighting just how important indie studios like Glitch have become in elevating the animation industry and creating jobs for creatives.

Rogers’ new position is hopefully a strong sign that Glitch Productions is here to stay and will continue creating exciting projects for fans around the world.
