Set phasers to fun! Trekkies will want to keep their eyes peeled for these exciting upcoming figures from Nacelle!
Nacelle’s second wave of must-have Trek action figures will include figures of the legendary Captain Kathryn Janeway and the always lovable Nog. Janeway’s figure is based on her appearance in the two-part season 4 episode of Star Trek: Voyager, Year of Hell, which is often considered to be the best episode of the series and among the best episodes of the entire Trek franchise. Meanwhile, Nog’s design is inspired by his appearance in the fifth episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s sixth season, Favor the Bold.
Captain Kathryn Janeway remains one of the most important and beloved characters in Star Trek history. Played by prolific Emmy nominee Kate Mulgrew, Janeway’s legacy as the first woman to be the main protagonist of a Star Trek series has helped cement her place as one of science fiction's most prominent heroines.. Mulgrew played Janeway for six seasons and 172 episodes and reprised the role in voice-over for the animated series Star Trek: Prodigy. Despite not being the main character of his show, Nog has a fan base of his own and is often cited as one of the most memorable recurring characters in the franchise’s lengthy history. Nog is widely regarded as the signature role of Aron Eisenberg, who passed away in 2019.
Nacelle also confirmed at this year’s Comic Con that the third and fourth waves of their action figure lines will arrive sometime in 2026, just in time for Star Trek’s milestone 60th anniversary.
