In a positive headline sure to make Warner Bros. glad that they rebooted the DC property on the big and small screen, Superman (2025) has brought in big views on the company’s streaming platform.

According to HBO Max, the latest incarnation of the Man of Steel has achieved 13 million global viewers since it premiered on the service September 19th, a little over a week ago. This apparently marks the highest 10-day audience for a pay-one film since Barbie, back in December 2023. The film itself also boosted views of past Superman films, particularly the oldest ones available on the service.

Superman earned a little over 600 million worldwide at the end of its theatrical run earlier this year, an impressive number but nowhere near the heights the box office used to enjoy, especially in the case of big superhero films. Despite this fact, the DC brand appears to be quite strong, with Season 2 of Peacemaker making a substantial impact on social media and openly teasing the future of the DC universe.

Hopefully, Superman and other DC releases in the near future continue to make a strong showing, which should be likely given the general enjoyment many fans have found with James Gunn’s take on various heroes.
