Disney fans have much to look forward to in the next couple of years, with The Mandalorian & Grogu and Toy Story 5 at the top of the highly anticipated titles list. Bob Iger announced the latest installment of Toy Story just over one year ago, citing, “We are leaning into our unrivaled brands.” Unrivaled brands undoubtedly include Frozen, Zootopia, Moana, and, of course, Star Wars. The third installment of Frozen is in the works, but does not appear to have a set release date.

Toy Story 5 is set for theatrical release on June 19, 2026, with the studio hoping that a return to the franchise’s roots will pay off at the box office as Lightyear did not. Moana's live-action remake starring Dwayne Johnson has been pushed back to July 10, 2026, while the animated Moana 2 is expected to sail into theaters this coming November.
