The Season 1 Finale Of 'Star Wars: Andor' Cut The Franchise's First F-Bomb

Star Wars has historically been considered a family and kid-friendly franchise; however, the maturing fanbase and the more profound philosophical content produced might signal more mature dialogue in the future. The most recent project, Andor, has been reported to have censored the "F" word at a pivotal moment in the series. In the season 1 finale, Maria Andor gives a rousing speech to rebel against the empire and uses as her rallying cry "Fight the Empire" to rally the citizens of Ferrix against the Empire. Had it not been for the television censors, the cry would have been "F" The Empire. The finale director even went so far as to include the captions and record the dialogue; however, the keepers of a galaxy far, far away will not allow cursing and NSFW language for the moment.

Andor has been a critical success since season 1 debuted earlier in 2022. Plans for season two were green light by the studio and are currently in pre-production. Recently, Cassian Andor actor, Diego Luna, confessed that season two would bring the audience's favorite rebels closer to their Rogue One fates. Luna promises that the pacing will be accelerated, focusing on specific points on the journey to their Rogue One Fates.
