Prime Video launched a trailer for Season 2 of Fallout at the Opening Night of Gamescom. The trailer shows Lucy searching for her dad with Ghoul and discovering he’s in the city of New Vegas. The pair discovers the history of the wasteland as Ghoul mentions that the end of the world started in Las Vegas. A silver screen star, Cooper Howard, presents himself as omniscient, talking about an upcoming war and bombs dropping. The season looks set up to alternate between Lucy’s search in the present and the history of the nuclear fallout in the past. The trailer is accompanied by the tagline, “The end of the world ain’t over yet.”
Season 3 was also confirmed, so it’s likely Season 2 will set up a few mysteries to follow up with during the third season. Ella Purnell plays Lucy MacLean while Walter Goggins reprises his role as Ghoul. Kyle MacLachlan takes on the role of Lucy’s father, Hank MacLean, and Aaron Moten returns as Maximus, a member of the Brotherhood of Steel. The first season contained eight episodes, roughly an hour each, and the second and third seasons will most likely follow this pattern. The trailer also revealed the release date for the season: December 17, 2025.
