Just before those first-season finale credits rolled, fans waved goodbye to a stranded Ahsoka and Sabine. With The Clone Wars era fan favorite apprentice turned master and her protégé navigating their new galaxy environment, the villainous options leading into this second season were left somewhat open-ended.

It’s been confirmed that four villains will participate in the upcoming season, and fans could not be more excited to see how it shapes up! Check out the Season 2 baddies below!

Ray Stevenson brought Baylon Skoll to life in Season 1. Sadly, Stevenson passed away before the first season’s premiere. However, the legacy he laid out for this beloved character will continue, as the role has been recast with Rory McCann (Game of Thrones).

When we last saw Skoll, he had parted ways with his apprentice, Shin Hati, to hike up to the statue of the Mortis god known as the Father. There is much speculation as to how Skoll’s arc may play out; however, based on what Filoni shared, it is possible to theorize that the Mortis gods will play a part in one way or another.

This talented force user handed Sabine her tush on more than one occasion throughout the first season. Ironically enough, she, too, has been abandoned and stranded in this new galaxy far, far away.

What’s an apprentice with no master to do in Peridea? Well, at the end of the season, she was seen amongst a band of local raiders. It seems like she could work her way into a fun leadership or warlord position. We will have to see how her story plays out.

Thrawn

Arguably, the most anticipated villain to grace the live-action screen in Ahsoka was The Clone Wars alum, Grand Admiral Thrawn, whom we last saw aboard his ship, the Chimaera, heading out of Peridea with his new besties, the witches of Dathomir. One can only imagine the havoc he has in store for the New Republic in Season 2.

His exact role is not known currently, however, Filoni says that “Half [Season 2] is a really big battle, there is going to be a war in our Star Wars. Like an all-out throwdown... Because we want that, and Thrawn will be involved, you'll see a lot more of him.”

Anakin Skywalker

Hayden Christensen has confirmed that he’s reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker in the upcoming season. In Season 1, fans saw him counsel his only padawan in the World Between Worlds and in flashback sequences to The Clone Wars. This ultimately helped Ahsoka over the hump to accepting her past and embracing her future.

Christensen teased that while Anakin’s heroic persona was seen in the first season and is expected in the second, that the original big bad himself, Darth Vader, may make an appearance as well.

As a side note, while not a villain at all, Filoni has promised fans that they will see a lot more of their favorite war crime-comitting droid. That’s right, Chopper will be a prominent staple in Season 2 as well, which is currently in production and expected to premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2026!
