Like many things, the writer’s strike of 2023 pushed a lot of things back. It turns out that when you don’t have anybody to write any of your projects, they don’t get made. One of the victims of the strike was Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. After the cliffhanger ending of the second season, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the third season. Now that we’re mere months away, we’re getting a few more details about what’s coming up.
The coolest thing is the character posters done up in the style of the old 70s Star Trek novel covers. They invoke a sense of nostalgia while also creating excitement for the adventures to come in the new season, as the characters keep exploring the final frontier. On top of that, we’ve also been given the full title list for the season, which includes such titles as "Four-And-A-Half Vulcans", "Wedding Bell Blues", and, in reference to one of Star Trek’s most iconic lines, "New Life and New Civilizations". Star Trek fans are doubtlessly in for a good time.
Season 3 premieres with two episodes on Paramount+ on July 17th.
