A new The Mandalorian & Grogu figurine set from The Black Series will soon go on sale. Yakface shared an image of the Mando figurine online, and the set includes a small Grogu, Din Djarin’s jetpack, various rifles, a knife, and what appears to be a sword.
This weapon is the addition that has captured the most attention from fans online, with many fans commenting that it could be the writers’ way of making up for the loss of the Darksaber, which looked great in Mando’s hands. He gave the Mandalorian Jedi weapon to Bo-Katan Kryze in The Mandalorian Season 3, but by the finale, the weapon’s hilt was destroyed by Moff Gideon during a fight.

The sword has raised curiosity among fans regarding its origins, and this could be a Beskad, which is a Mandalorian sword forged from beskar iron. According to Legends, a Beskad was a weapon often used by ancient Mandalorian warriors. It was usually made from beskar iron, which could only be found on Concordia, a moon in the Mandalore system. In Season 3, Djarin told Grogu that he grew up on Concordia, so perhaps fans are on to something. If this sword is indeed a beskad, it may have belonged to Din’s mentor, and it would make sense to bring it back for the movie, as he continues his duties as Grogu’s father and mentor; however, as of now, nothing regarding the sword has been confirmed.
The Mandalorian and Grogu figurine from The Black Series is reportedly going on sale in March 2026. The Mandalorian and Grogu premieres May 22, 2026.
