Star Wars news has been increasing this week, initially in what many believed to be the lead-up to tickets for The Mandalorian and Grogu going on sale, but it appears that those aren’t the only tickets Star Wars intends to release soon.
Beginning on May 6th, tickets for access to Star Wars Celebration 2027 and preferred hotels will go on sale. The event, currently set from April 1st to 4th at the Los Angeles Convention Center, will be a major event for the fandom as the franchise hits its 50th anniversary that year. In addition to the re-release of A New Hope in movie theatres in 2027, Starfighter will be premiering a month later, the next live-action film following the upcoming adventure of our favorite armored warrior and his little green son.
The Celebration website has also gone live, and while somewhat sparse with only core information of the whens and wheres of the event, it has shown off the price points (in American dollars) for the different levels of tickets going on sale.

The three different levels currently shown are: Jedi Master VIP (at 1,210.99$), Adult Tickets (each offered for individual days but with a package deal for all four at 260.99$), and Kid Tickets, with a similar set-up to Adult Tickets, though with a package deal set at 105.99$. All of these tickets grant individuals access to the Convention Center’s set-up, which features offerings like fan panels and content stages, the Official Star Wars Show Store, and celebrity photos and autographing. As one can imagine, the VIP package offers VIP-level access to a number of venues, but also exclusive facilities for use by VIP attendees.
Hopefully, more information about the convention will be released soon so people can plan their days better around what presentations will be happening and when.
