It's no secret that Galactus and his herald, the Silver Surfer, will be the main antagonists of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. It is also no secret that Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm/The Thing, and Jonny Storm will make the extradimensional jump from Earth-828 to Earth-616, as revealed by the post-credit scene from Thunderbolts*.
And it is further no mystery that First Steps will also include a post-credit scene, teasing future events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Matt Shakman, director of The Fanatic Four: First Steps, has now confirmed that it was not he who helmed this scene, but the directors of the next MCU feature, Joe and Anthony Russo.
He also explained that the Russos were very involved in the production of his film, visiting the sets and watching scenes getting filmed to familiarize themselves with the four characters who will appear in both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

While such a situation might have caused some tension on set, Shakman had no problems with the presence of the Russos:
“Not at all, especially when I'm handing them off to the Russo brothers, who are amazing at what they do, and they’re lovely, generous people," the director said. "I often think of working at Marvel as like running a relay race. You pass the baton, you run as hard and fast as you can with it for that section of the race that belongs to you, and then you pass that baton. I passed it on to Joe and Anthony, and they’re off and running, and that’s great.”
The Fantastic Four post-credit scene was already shot as part of the production of Doomsday, as was the final scene of Thunderbolts*, which the Russo brothers also directed. Both are meant to establish the state of the universe before the arrival of Dr. Doom (played by Robert Downey Jr.) and could establish the first contact between the Fantastic Four and the Avengers (either the group around Sam Wilson or the New Avengers, aka Thunderbolts, or both). It will take roughly one and a half years until the audience gets confirmation if and how the two scenes filmed by the Russos will fit into Doomsday.
In addition to First Steps, Doomsday, and Secret Wars, there are already rumors that Disney and Marvel are preparing a Fantastic Four sequel, slated for release in December 2028.
