'Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds' Trailer Drops Showcasing Custom Features; Confirms Physical Release Method

We’ve got a whole lot of new information on the upcoming Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, so let’s dive in! Firstly, we got a new trailer for the game focusing on vehicle customization. The trailer shows off the impressive and robust customization system. There are over 100 vehicle parts, 70 gadgets, and 40 vehicles for players to choose from, resulting in 70,000+ combinations. Truly, there are “Endless Possibilities” that players can use to give themselves an edge in the race. Some featured combos include the Giant Rocket Punch, Air Trick Expert, and more. In addition, the trailer continues to feature high-speed car and board racing gameplay.

In addition to the trailer, we got a small bit of important information for certain fans regarding the Nintendo Switch 2 release. There has been some speculation regarding whether or not Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds would be a full game card release or a game-key card release, but it seems we have our answer. In a recent FAQ, SEGA revealed that the base game will be fully on a 64GB Switch 2 card. Furthermore, they also revealed that there will be a $10 NSO upgrade path for those who purchase the edition for the original Switch, and crossplay will be present as well. Exciting news for fans looking to get the Switch and Switch 2 versions!
