A brand new and exciting TV spot for The Mandalorian and Grogu just landed online. The new 30-second teaser, shared by The Beyond Reporter on X, features several new and previously unseen scenes, all set to the original Star Wars theme. It starts with a new look at the Hutt lair and the snowtroopers. Din Djarin says, “Gangsters, warlords, monsters”, which are likely the three main obstacles he and Grogu will face in the film. They’ll have to confront gangsters like the Hutts, and warlords like former Imperials, including a character played by Jonny Coyne. The word ‘monster’ is uttered by a helmetless Din Djarin, with a brand new angle of Pedro Pascal in the suit.

The clip also teases the albino snake monster eating Djarin alive, or at least attempting to take a nice, big bite out of our beskar-clad hero. There’s a thrilling new look at Embo’s pet dog, who looks like he snuck up on Grogu and his Anzellan friends near the Djarin homestead. Din Djarin appears to be the one carrying the same group of Anzellans later in the clip. Grogu is shown hopping onto his dad’s shoulder a couple of times, and a particularly funny shot is when he taps on the back of Djarin’s helmet to warn him of impending danger, right before the duo escapes a huge blast that engulfs an entire AT-AT. The Mandalorian and Grogu is forged for IMAX screens and premieres May 22.
