'V/H/S/Halloween' Trailer Showcases Some Thrilling, Creepy Looks

The V/H/S series has seen some ups and downs. What started as a clever found footage series with hit or miss segments (like most anthologies) went flat with the release of V/H/S: Viral before finding a new life on the horror streaming service Shudder. For the past several years, the service has put out four new films in the series, and there seem to be no signs of slowing down. This year we are getting V/H/S/Halloween, and it’s shaping up to be another thrilling ride.
Like the previous Shudder entries, there is a general theme to the film. Beyond dealt largely with outer space-themed shorts, the ones set in certain years had shorts from those years, and now the latest one is set to have a bunch of Halloween segments. Like the other films, this one is set to have some powerhouse directors, such as Paco Plaza of REC fame. The trailer shows that the film is dripping with Halloween atmosphere with trick-or-treaters, costumes, decorations, and lots of terror for… maybe not the whole family, but it promises to be a good time.
V/H/SHalloween is set to come out exclusively on Shudder on October 3rd 2025
