The hype train is coming to another galaxy. ScreenShare, a partnership between Screen Engine/ASI and TheWrap, tracks data about the top ten most-mentioned entertainment options around, and The Mandalorian and Grogu has reached the number one spot for the week of May 2 - May 8. It was leading overall at 4.74% of all mentions, and as the weeks go by towards the May 22 release date, it is likely to receive even more. Anticipation is high for this film, but can it live up to all this hype? Only time will tell, as next Friday is approaching fast.

The Mandalorian and Grogu is an upcoming film in the Star Wars universe, following up on The Mandalorian series. Pedro Pascal returns as Din Djarin, the titular Mandalorian, as he is recruited by the New Republic to rescue Rotta, son of the infamous Jabba the Hutt, in order to obtain information on a target. Meanwhile,  Djarin continues to raise Grogu, an infant of Yoda’s species. Featuring a cast including Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White, fans are certain to flock to this new Star Wars film.
