'Only Murders In The Building' To Start Disney Entertainment TV's Video Podcast Slate

Disney is making a massive push into the podcasting space in the coming months, with Only Murders In The Building leading the charge.
Alongside shows like Dancing with the Stars, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Only Murders will be getting a companion video podcast series, accessible via YouTube, as well as through a wide range of audio-based platforms. The episodes will also be available to watch for subscribers of Disney+, Hulu, and Hulu on Disney+.
The podcast for Only Murders will premiere on September 9th, 2025, the same day as Season 5’s arrival on Disney+ and Hulu. The new podcast series will be hosted and executive-produced by Michael Cyril Creighton, who ran an aftershow companion series on Hulu for previous seasons of Only Murders. Various guests for the show have been confirmed in the announcement, including fellow show actors like Selena Gomez, as well as behind-the-scenes talent such as series showrunner and executive producer John Hoffman.

The other podcasts connected to other Disney+ or Hulu shows have yet to get release dates, but it stands to reason most will launch similarly close to their respective series, like ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Official Podcast. Other, yet unnamed shows, also have podcasts in the works as well, so we’ll have to wait and see if Disney’s big push pays off, and what behind-the-scenes information we might learn through the discussions on each of these upcoming podcasts.
